En todo el universo de la literatura pocas obras existen que sean tan excelsas, tan puramente creativas, como “El país de la noche”. Por muchas faltas formales que puedan enumerarse en este libro, por muy excesiva que pueda parecer su longitud, esta es la gran obra del cosmos agonizante, la gran obra épica de un mundo sitiado por la noche eterna y por la garra de la oscuridad. Sólo un gran poeta podría haber concebido y creado esta historia.
